Graduate ESG Analyst

Kick-start your career in sustainability and make a real-world impact from day one.

At Lucideon, we’re looking for a Graduate ESG Analyst to join our Assurance Services team. If you’re passionate about sustainability, data and making a difference, this is your opportunity to build specialist expertise in carbon and ESG reporting—while developing towards a career as a professional auditor.

Why this role is different

This isn’t a “sit and watch” graduate role. From the start, you’ll get hands-on experience working on real ESG and carbon assurance projects, learning from experts and building technical skills that are in high demand. This role is site-based in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support the delivery of ESG and carbon audits across a range of industries, including:

  • Analysing environmental, energy and ESG data
  • Supporting reporting frameworks such as GRI, SECR, UK ETS, GHG Protocol and GRESB
  • Taking part in site interviews and evidence gathering
  • Preparing audit reports and verification statements
  • Working on multiple projects with colleagues across the business
  • Building relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Continuously developing your technical and auditing skills

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for curious, analytical graduates who want to build a career in sustainability and assurance.

You’ll ideally have:

  • A degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, data/science or a numerical discipline
  • An interest in ESG, carbon reporting or climate-related topics

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Confidence working with data (Excel skills are a plus)
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Flexibility to travel (mainly UK, occasional overseas – driving licence preferred)

What you’ll get

We’ll invest in your development from day one:

  • Structured graduate training programme (including auditor development)
  • Clear progression pathway to Auditor / Lead Auditor
  • Support for professional qualifications and external certifications
  • Competitive holiday allowance + bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Employee assistance programme and optional private healthcare

Ready to start your ESG career?

If you’re looking for a role where you can apply your degree, develop specialist skills and contribute to a more sustainable future, we’d love to hear from you.
